Our Story
Vahluri Youth Development is a Section 18A Non-profit Organization founded in 2022. “Vahluri” is a Xitsonga word meaning conquerors / einners which is a mindset the organization aims to instill in children and the youth from disadvantaged communities.
Our motto “against all odds” is a bold statement expressing that no matter the magnitude of the barriers faced, victory is guaranteed with the correct mindset and support. The organization has programs that cater for early childhood support and spans all the way to providing support to aspiring tertiary students.
Our main target areas are townships in and around Gauteng and villages in various parts of South Africa which are identified through strategic collaborations wiith various community and religious organizations.
Vahluri has active programs in Gauteng, Limpopo, KZN, and Eastern Cape with an appitite to expand to other provinces within South Africa with particular interest in rural villages.

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope to young children and the youth from disadvantaged communities by providing educational and social aid through various programs structured to suit specific community dynamics. We envision a society where thr potential of every child is recognized, natured, and celebrated, constributing to a more just and equitable world.
We aim to educate, train, empower and challenge the mindset of children and the youth in underprivileged communities. In that way a gloomy historic background of poverty can be eradicated through empowerment and every yough person we reach out to has potential to conquer against it all.
